Thank you for your interest in the 2012 Walk On! Challenge. Although the Walk On! Challenge is intended for fifth-grade classrooms, the healthy principles of the program are great lessons for children of all ages.
If you would like to implement the 2012 Walk On! Challenge in your classroom this year, but you did not register for the program, simply download the 2012 Walk On! Challenge tracking brochure. You can make copies of the brochure for each of your students and ask them to track their progress throughout the month of February, aiming to reach the 5-2-1-0 goal every day.*
This electronic brochure is also provided as a replacement for any lost tracking brochures. Simply download and print.
Also included here is a flyer you can download to send home to parents so they can help support their student’s effort to reach the 5-2-1-0 goal every day. You could even send it to parents through email!
For more information about the 5-2-1-0 goal and ideas to use in the classroom, please make sure to visit the “Overview” and “5-2-1-0 Tips.”
Remember, 5-2-1-0 is the number to know!
*Please note that to be eligible to apply for the grants for schools or for students to be eligible to be entered to win prizes, you must be a fifth-grade teacher and officially registered for the program.
